I was continuing on my purging of some of my old photos to cler space on my external hard drive and I came across this shot. It was one of the more amazing experiences in my life. A friend and I were going hunting for eagles in the valley at lambing season thinking they would be looking for placentas to eat and I saw dark and white and screamed for her to stop. We drove back to where I had seen them and spent the next 1/2 hour on the other side of the fence while this family ate its fill and taught their baby how to be in the world. Best on black.
