White Egret Flying Over Old Fishing Boat Texturized

Just some more indoor rainy day play. I had gone out for sunrise shooting the day before when it wasn't raining but the sunrise was pretty puny but I liked the old fishing boat so I gave it some texture and stuff.
Thanks so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Love your processing.

Glorious processing!! Huge Fav!!

The processing makes this so artistic. My only thought is that it makes the egret blend a bit into the background, but the title helps keep it as a main focus.
Thanks for your visit on the red hatted runner who was VERY hard to find -- I knew he was there when I took the shot and couldn't find him for a long time even on the large screen. He's at the base of the tree in the background on the right hand side. Teeeeeny!

Very artistic Jane, you've obviously mastered TTE. The egret is a bit hard to see though.

Nice textures, it looks like an old time photo.

@taffy @golftragic I agree re the egret blending in. I masked out more of the texture and then it looked really weird in its brightness. Any suggestions given that?

Quite nice processing - like the added texture and the tones.

Ah now I love that - need to improve at this

@jgpittenger @golftragic I'm not sure - I've had the same thing happen where once the texture was masked out, the focal object looks pasted on. I wonder if there's a way to create transparency but not mask and to keep the edges of the image fairly blended. I'm thinking it might pop more without having that pasted on look.

I really like this photo, especially the sepia tones.

@taffy @golftragic I tried all the different blending modes. I wonder about maybe doing two different ones and masking some of each out. I may try it tomorrow if I get a chance
