Thanks to all for your kind response to yesterday's poppy and for your wishes for me to have a good night's sleep. Hooray! I did. It seems as if Pearl is finally getting back to her pre surgery (spaying) schedule.
So I am finally looking at the shots I took at the aquarium a couple days ago. I loved watching the puffins and this pair were so affectionate with each other. I don't think of birds as being particularly tender, but the tufted puffins sure were.
