We enjoyed a good long walk on the beach with Black Pearl to celebrate Christmas Eve. These little birds are snowy plover which are endangered. During much of the year, nesting season, dogs aren't allowed on the beach near our house. There were hundreds of them playing around on the edge of the surf. Wish I'd had my big girl camera.
