I went out with a bird watching friend yesterday to do a bird count at nearby Waite ranch. Somehow I had my ISO set at 2500 so everything came out noisy and overexposed. So I gave a couple of them a "seeing to". We saw several Western bluebird pairs and an American kestrel (sparrow hawk) was looking for lunch. This is a composite with an imported sky so it wasn't just pure white and I put the kestrel and female bluebird in the same frame to acknowledge what we saw in danger of happening. Best on black.
