Sometimes You Don't Fit In Your Skin Any Longer

Best on black. I found this snake skin on a hike a couple of days ago and brought it home to try out my new macro setup. Last year I won a $50 gift certificate for a winning photograph from Dot Dotson. I finally got around to going and selection what I wanted to get with the certificate. I found a simple cardboard table studio set up complete with lighting. I see from the bright background area that it will take some learning but I am pleased re how the focus stacked snake skin came out. It is a merge of 9 shots.
