We haven't had a pretty sunset for an eternity. I could see it might develop into a good one while we were having dinner, but I didn't want to deal with 4th of July traffic and drunk driving craziness so I figured photographing from my deck was going to have to do. It was gorgeous. You can see a tiny bit of the color reflected in the ocean towards the left and close to the bottom of the frame.
