If you look carefully, you'll see a spider web framing him. I know that Annas hummingbirds eat bugs as well as pollen. I wonder if rufous do too. Does anyone know? I'm always so stunned by how bright and saturated the breeding plumage is as compared with the normal adult male coloring.
