Desert Ravens

This is another shot from our trip that I finally had time to edit. I liked it in color but somehow the ravens make a more powerful appearance in b and w. Suggestions?

@swilde Thanks much for this feedback. I'm not sure why...maybe because I was using matrix metering since my attention was on capturing the wall for a camera club fence competition. This wasn't cropped much, so that's not why. Any guesses?

It could be the matrix metering. I generally try to only have a single spot meter...It wobbles around a bit but does eventually go where I want it. Other than that...no idea
