@emjay8 gave me a push challenge this week of landscape shots that don't have color to bring out their beauty. Here is my fist attempt. I went out with an idea in mind but then 1) my camera's focus wouldn't work...i later found out I'd set it on a locked position, 2) some weird looking people were at the trail head that I was going to take off from alone so I decided to wait for another day. So this is what I have for now.
Why didn't I think of that? I took dozens of photos of waves on my recent Oregon trip but it never crossed my mind to try B&W. The range of tones is impressive.
