The shot I really wanted to post today was the one I saw in my head of the super full moon rising behind the Cascade Mountains or perhaps setting into the ocean, but we have rain and thick cloud cover so that idea got discarded. We'd been driving south in hopes of getting out of the cloud bank without luck and on the return trip I spied this patch of river I hadn't explored before. I like all the mossy pilings and the bridge in the background. The light left a lot to be desired though.
Artfully composed with the mossy pilings against the brightest part of the reflection. Actually, I like the subdued light. Sometimes brighter light blows out the rich green moss.
