Bristle Cone Pine

Our second day ended with a trip up to the Bristlecone Pine Forest. What amazing trees! Unfortunately I was exhausted and didn't get very far in and my ability to see compositionly was fried. But here's what I got.
I'm off for a couple day trip with my husband to celebrate our 49th anniversary a bit late. I'll be back to see your shots in a couple of days. Thanks for taking my Milky Way at CARMA shot to the PP
Gorgeous light, patterns, and texture. Many years ago I walked the entire Methuselah trail here. It is all up and down at over 10,000' elevation. I will never forget it, but could not do it now. Congratulations on your anniversary.
