We just bought a 1999 Dodge van RV> we've never had such a thing before and look forward to taking many adventures in it. We have always been backpacking and or tent campers (and still will be) but this will let me take trips to fun places and get there for sunset and stars and then sleep until sunrise. We are also so sick of dealing with airplanes flying from a small airport often to another small airport with three or more flights each way, that we thought this would be a good alternative. Of course our first night out, no hook ups so it was just like tent camping but with air conditioning as long as we and other campers could stand the sound of the generator and a "bed".
