A friend and I took on the frustration of highway construction and drove up to Yachats last late afternoon for a pretty high tide and sunset. It was worth the trip! Just as the sun was about to set, this bagpiper came out to celebrate the moment.

Might have considered chopping off the photographer Jane....might have made the bag pipe player look all on his own in the mountains....just a thought hope you don't mind!
What's interesting to me about this is to see how with the other photographer in the scene (your friend), it's still beautiful, but it's about the photography. Without the photography, it's a shot about solitude, beauty, etc. Really glad you posted both!
