Black and White Fresh Bread

We had company for dinner last night and I made a rustic bread. Unfortunately they arrived just as I pulled it out of the oven so no time to set up a good shot. Taken with my i-pad. It would have been more appetizing in color but flash of red theme calls! It tasted fabulous.

That looks REALLY great! Mouthwatering, in fact. I used to make bread a lot but fell into the trap of convenience with a bread machine. That disappeared somewhere (maybe in storage, maybe somewhere in Bill & Junko's garage) so I haven't made any bread at all "because I don't have my machine." Pathetic!

@taffy lol! This is actually incredibly easy...it rises for 12-16 hours but no need to knead and it is scrumptious...has fresh rosemary and lemon rind in it
