Wow, I’ve only seen a kestrel when the North Coast Wildlife Rehab folks brought one down for an interpretive show at the state park. How awesome to see one in the wild, you captured it well!
This is terrific, down to the clarity and 'twinkle' in its eye. The blue sky is brilliant in tone. Wondered if you used the Tamron or a different telephoto?
