First Trillium by jgpittenger

First Trillium

These carry such bittersweet memories for me. I first saw them years ago hiking with my dear friend Maisie. Sadly, about 20 years ago she moved away and then got early dementia and this year died. She was such a huge gift to my life. Here’s a photo for you, dear friend.
Stellar focus and details. Hopefully the Trilliums help you remember happy times as well.

wonderful to find trilliums and especially after the rain. Gorgeous plant! I actually went yesterday to a wildflower walk and saw my first for this year also.

What a beautiful lush image of this trillium, and a nice memory of your friend. My Mom has these too. My sister brought one east from St. Louis, and it took hold here in CT. I have a red one in my garden.

It is a wonderful flower, but it will not appear in Poland until May. Beautiful pov and shot.

Wonderful! Trillium -- if we make it in time -- is the flower welcoming us on our property on Beaver Island. It's treasured!

Dementia has taken so many of my friends, what a heartbreaking disease. This is lovely. It’s so good that we can remember the good times with our dear friends.
