Photographer Too Close

I watched this man hike way out on the oyster beds until he was only about 10 ft from the birds. They kept getting scared off and then returning for their fishing site.

So sad when one sees this, you should have told him to back off, I would have. Surely his lens was big enough. Great shot of the shooter.

This behavior gives photographers a bad name with naturalists and birders.

A sad sight. Unfortunately, very common. It will not take good shots up close because the animals behave unnaturally.

Sad - also, with such a lens, he could well have stayed back - and the birds would have been relaxed, hence better models...
