Another attempt at my push challenge given by @copperheadglass "Something that relies less on the actual content, and more on colors, lines, shapes, and textures, to produce a visually stimulating image. I realize that I don't much like abstract art so it's been a bit of a stretch to get by my bias and realize I do like shapes, lines, colors. Reminds me of years ago when I thought I hated curry. Then one day I found a curry cookbook and realized I liked all the ingredients except fenugreek. I've been making and loving curry ever since. Maybe I will be making and loving abstract art from now on too!
Lovely abstract! I love the interesting lines. I just noticed you're on your 2nd year - well done - I've hit a brickwall with 365 at the moment... I hope it'll come back to me soon!
@elsbels I pretty much dropped out of beyond layers. Some how at 68 yo all her self exploration feels like for a previous time in my life and, thoughi liked learning some of her simplicity and textures, her style really isn't mine. I like landscapes and out of doors so much more than still life's...at least until the rain starts again! I miss you here though
I'll definitely be back very soon - just bitten off far more than I can chew these last few weeks -all photography and art related so I can't really complain. I love seeing your landscapes and how you're progressing so well with these.
