Inspired by @colosimo's fabulous shot of the milky way over some cabins, I decided to try some star shots from my deck since I'm still sick and that felt as if it was as far as I could venture. I kind of like the star moon even though the stars would have been brighter later...when I was sound asleep! The color in the sky over the bit of ocean is the remainder of a nice sunset

It looks like the focus may have been slightly off? Compared to your other picture the stars look a little less resolved in this one. It's pretty close if it is off, at least. One cool side effect of that, though, is that the stars take on more color when they're a little blurred.
This is my favorite of the two. I enjoy this sort of photo more when there is still a little colorful light in the sky instead of completely black. The stars seem brighter here as well, and I think the other photo had some light touching the lens in the lower left. At any rate, this one is wonderful. I hope you are feeling much better.
