Old Tire Reflections

I know it takes more time to give suggestions than just affirmations, but I am eager for constructive criticism. I'd be happy to agree to offer that to any of my followers who ask for it in exchange for them giving it to me.
Playing around some more with black and white. I'm thinking it needs more contrast perhaps.
I love this but I don't think you'd get away with any more contrast.

Would the dark bits not be too dark with more? I think it's just right the way it is for wha it's worth. Great idea for a shot. I'd probably have have walked past!

This is a lovely image. I think there's a good balance of contrasts - if you adjust it too much either way you may lose the ripples and textures in the reflection.

This is a great shot. I love how you were able to see and beautifully capture something that lots of people walk right past. My eyes want to push the tires towards the center more, but I like the sense of pulling it creates - like the water is moving.

Peter is right. More contrast and you would lose detail in the highlights. I would darken it just a little if it were mine. Interesting play of light and shadow.

As others have said, the contrast would lose some of the other details. Perhaps running it through an HDR program, which would bring out some of the highlights in the darkened section, then bumping up the contrast would work?

I really like it the way it is. Or perhaps play with thirds for composition- a wider crop to allow for this? A gorgeus photo.
