Golden Tree in Titus Canyon

There is an amazing road through Titus canyon in Death Valley. It is twisty, narrow, gravel, and absolutely stunning. When I went to Death Valley in March for my class I knew I needed to come back with Jim. It was one of the high points of his and my trip. I thought this tree looked like spun gold in the light.

Well seen. There is wonderful color harmony here. Titus Canyon is a fun drive for sure. I especially remember parking under an overhang for a photo of my VW camper several years ago.
