No picture taking today. I was bound and determined to get caught up on housework and laundry. Plus spent a lot of time organizing my pictures in Bridge as I want to see if I can make that work as well as I have the organizer in Photoshop Elements. I work at tagging my photos and my scrapbook elements. Helps me when I want to pull things together. Some of my tags from Elements came over put not in the correct groupings. My computer is fairly well organized compared to say my office. And so I have my work cut out for me. UGH! this is the great, great niece who took my picture yesterday. Did her in bw mostly because not real sure how to get rid of the dirt smudges. I toned them done but in color much more noticeable. Any one know how you do this? By the way I used a white apron to bounce light onto her face you can see the apron in the catch lights in her right eye. Need more practice with this.
For the dirt smudges, try the Clone Stamp tool in PS CC doing a small area at a time and resampling often and close-by to keep the retouch contextual. If needs be you could apply a local Gaussian or Lens Blur to smooth everything out once you are done.
I personally think Lightroom is the way to go for organising your pics rather than Bridge.
