Tom Thumb continues his adventure. I have some where you can see the whole item but I liked the slightly off frame of this one plus the light. I used my white poster board to bounce light unto the front of this and you can see it in the shadows inside the back doors. Very interesting holding the poster board, lifting the lens off the ground and snapping the picture. Thank heavens for my cable release. Hope someone likes it because I just know my mentor isn't going to like the off frame. And I placed the leaf there because Tom Thumb would see it like that.
I like this a lot! Such great lighting, thanks for explaining what you did as lighting is one area I know so little about and haven't played enough with it.
Well done, you've thought this through carefully - the idea is a nice one. I think that showing only part of the cable car to suggest that it is arriving or departing is good... here comes the but (!), but to my eye, this 90% view of the CC just looks as though the picture was not quite framed as you wanted it to be. Definitely the way to go with this theme though.
