Another shot from the Victorian Mansion. No photos today. Sorry but this is a very stressful time and so not taking pictures many days. We are supposed to get a "wintery mix" starting tonight and going until tomorrow. So I did some grocery shopping on lunch hour and also on way home (couldn't find everything at first store). My nephew and I are indulging in a family traditional holiday meal tomorrow. Oyster stew. My mother always made it for Christmas eve. YUM
These Victorian Mansion photos are fascinating! I am so glad you are sharing them with us. Plus they are very technically challenging so bravo my dear! Absolutely love the lighting on these blocks.
I think you got a really nice series of photos from your trip to the mansion. Why not use them?? It's your project- so post away- they're all very nice! I like the vintage processing on this one (or is it lighting?). Very nice. Enjoy your stew!
This has a lovely period feel about it Joan and, despite your fears, letting the ISO go up to 3200 hasn't resulted in objectionable noise. Looks like you got a result to me - well done.
@vignouse Thank you almighty mentor. I have to say I found more pictures this year then last year that I was happy with but felt the little vignettes worked best for me. Not sure why. Oh well can't wait for next year. Oh wait yes I can I want a nice summer first.
Hello Joan, what a varied and colourful album you've got. I really like how you experiment with all kinds of techniques. I read that you're very busy at the moment. Would you like a challenge this week? If yes, is a high key shot an option? I haven't seen one in your album. Good luck!
Someday I heared something like this : " we not turn older until we stop thinking as kids ". I have felt the strange sensation of wishing to play with these cubes. ;)
no worries. Take a picture that makes you relax, calm after a stressful day. Or photograph something white on white background. If you don't have time going through my album, no worries either, any theme will do :-)
