I haven't lost my phojo I've lost my mojo. Just haven't felt like going anywhere to take pictures. So today I took my camera out today and picked up a sandwich. Well my favorite sandwich shop is across from the mills and I took the opportunity to capture a shot. Then I went for a little ride and got more pictures but I really liked this one. I have a few others so if I am lacking in ambition this week I am covered.
For those who know my sister @janiskay I called her today because I haven't seen her online. I thought she had gone to see our aunt but no she is not feeling well. When I called today she was at the emergency room. I said if they kept her at the hospital to let me know but I haven't had a call so I am taking that as a good sign.
Here is the bw version I posted this morning. http://365project.org/joansmor/extras/2014-12-28
I really like this building Joan and that sky is excellent! I confess though that I would have been tempted to have processed this as a high structure B&W... did you try that I wonder?
@vignouse Oh Richard I know you so well sometimes. I did process in bw and went back and forth but I liked the color. I may post the bw later this week. Maybe if I was as good at processing bw like you I would have gone the other way. Just felt it lacked tonal range.
@joansmor That's interesting (no, really!) - I reckon I can count 11 if not 12 separate tones in this image which is what made me ask the question. Send me the raw file or the DNG if you like and I'll have a play...
I like all the tones here - the many shades of browns and even the greys, from the street up to the sky.
Check out Janice's last photo entry - there's a bit of info there on how she is feeling.
Love this capture - the sky is spectacular - Fav. Thanks for the info on Janice. I'm still checking everyday to see if there is anything new from her. Please let her know I'm sending thoughts and prayers her way!
I knew I lost something. For the last few weeks it has been hard to think of a cool shot. Today the sun has came out and I took a few shots. Hope Jan. is better than Dec.
I love this image! I was just lamenting my lack of architectural photos. This one is perfect with the sky and lighting.

Hope your sister is ok x
This reminds me of one building in my town, really interesting to photograph!
So sorry to hear about your sister, hope she is feeling better.
