Shortly after posting my dream view yesterday I passed this window and saw that the snow had started. I decided to capture it because it shows one of the actual views I have. This is one of the windows I get my bird pictures from and my nieces house is next door. Not as wonderful as my dream view but that's the crab apple tree so it can be very nice. Didn't crop to cut out the window parts because I was showing it as a window view. More snow followed by sleet and freezing rain. Fun to clean up.
I like the view of streets full of snow and the dimm light of the street lamp. You have there quiet city landscapes that here are impossible with all the noises and acustic and light pollution.
The real view that you have is always better than the idealistic one that you can only dream of... if for no other reason than the fact that it is yours alone to savour how and when you will. Keep warm - drive CAREFULLY tomorrow.
Brr that looks cold! I like the inclusion of the window, helps give the perspective since your window is so clean it might otherwise be easy to assume the picture is taken anywhere.
Great lighting and view Joan. Love the tones here. One more sleep and we should be out of here. Everything packed up in the RV except our personal last minute items. For some reason it seems more work this year...but then we have had a lot of other things going on. Happy New Year to you!!
