Just some light snow today! by joansmor

Just some light snow today!

Of course by light I mean fluffy and not how much because it has been snowing for about 15.5 hours and still going. Hope you get the idea that it blew and mounded as was steady. No birds. No squirrels. No people. Cleaned off my stoop and stairs twice and I'm about to head for one more time. Must be getting close to two feet. Snow angels anyone?
Wow!

Wow.. Great photos, looks pretty though.

Oh, my. So glad I'm not there! It's much prettier in pictures than in person! LOL! Great collage!
January 27th, 2015
@homeschoolmom Oh and I thought you and the boys would come make snow angels with me. LOL
January 27th, 2015
You've ventured out further than I have - it's brutal out there! Glad to know you are finding some photo fun midst this wild blizzard.
January 27th, 2015
Wow, that is a lot of snow. I don't blame people for not going out in that. Running out of whisky would be the only good reason to go to the store.

@kerfree The two at the bottom are taken through the kitchen window as you can see Two(my cat) sitting in front of watching the snow. The building is taken from the top of the steps on the stop. The farthest I went is the bottom of the steps.

@karlow75 I haven't run out but that is a good thought for later if the plow guy doesn't show up. LOL

I've heared about a storm of snow near New York area. Snow is beautiful but not this way. Take care about frozen streets :)
January 27th, 2015
Stay in for as long as you can it looks mighty cold out there. The kiddy has the right idea, watching the world go by...
January 27th, 2015
Nice collage Joan, looks like a lot of snow!
I like where your cat is, inside staying warm.
January 28th, 2015
@skskunky @radiogirl She sitting on the radiator in the picture. LOL
January 28th, 2015
Wow, keep warm! Two looks like she (he?) is missing the birdies! That is some real snow. I like your collage...maybe sparking an idea for my own photo. Have no idea how to do the collage thing!
January 28th, 2015
Wow, that is some snow storm!
January 28th, 2015
A collage was a good way to show the extent of this snow storm Joan. If we're going to get any it will be in February or early March... but I very much doubt it.
January 28th, 2015
Well, at least it looks very pretty and you captured it beautifully!

Tom
Wow great capture of the storm scenes
January 28th, 2015
This storm by-passed us. We only got a light dusting even though it seemed to come down steadily all day. I'm not complaining though. It was light which made it possible for me to sweep it and not have to shovel. Glad to see you made it through in spite of how much fell!
January 28th, 2015
Such great captures Joan. I have been thinking of you!! You make the most this storm with these beautiful images. fav
January 28th, 2015
Wow ... how much snow !!!! ... nice catch

January 28th, 2015
We've been watching all this on the news, it sounds horrendous.
January 28th, 2015
Fantastic collage of all that beautiful snow.
January 28th, 2015
@kt8ird In photo shop start a "new" and make it say 12 by 12 300psi. Then you add the pictures as layers - resizing to fit. The lines are trickier but email me if you want to really do it.
January 28th, 2015
I'm happy you have power. Is that your car? How soon do you have to get it going anywhere??? I'm with the cat on the radiator.
January 28th, 2015
snow angels? YES!
January 28th, 2015
"Snow Angels"??? We might not find you until the thaw!

LOVE all the images...especially funny as they seem to all be seen from indoors! Kitty has the right idea, too!
January 28th, 2015
Wow, that's a lot of snow! Stay safe and warm:)
A new follow from me, I love your photos and it's wonderful to get a glimpse of life in other parts of the world (I'm quite new to 365 and this is an unexpected bonus!).
January 28th, 2015
That is quite a bit of snow!!! I want to experience that just once!
January 28th, 2015
@sue_s It is one of my favorite things. Like robins in UK don't look like robins in Maine. Who knew - not me. Thanks for the follow.
January 28th, 2015
Come I have a spare bedroom. But you have to help shovel.
January 28th, 2015
Great collage of very nice images, a "bit" different from the colors in mine... LOL
January 28th, 2015
@anazad511 Now that's just a little mean. lol
January 28th, 2015
Jo
Wow, I know it must be a complete pain to live with but all that snow looks so magical - especially when you are in the middle of a heatwave!
January 28th, 2015
Wow, that's some snow.
January 29th, 2015
Great collage, that's a lot of snow
January 29th, 2015
You have beaten us by a long way Joan. Mind you if we have more than an inch people panic here
January 30th, 2015
@pjr It's all about what you are used to
January 30th, 2015
@joansmor Yes you are right Joan. Unfortunately over here some get a couple of inches and then shut everything down. Other places in Europe get more snow clear it and get on with things
January 30th, 2015
@pjr More snow this morning. My town had the most in the last storm 32 inches 4 to 8 expected this storm. You should see the piles of snow around here. Scary.
January 30th, 2015
@joansmor Tha makes ours a light covering then Joan. Keep warm and stay safe
January 30th, 2015
