I took this picture at one of my favorite spots on Saturday morning while it was snowing. Now that storm lasted most of the day but only gave us 3 inches of soft, fluffy snow.
I choose this one because a blizzard is right on our door step. Now whether it lands here in Maine or not is yet to be seen. Have seen these hyped all too often and then they fizzle out. They have already predicted less tonight then they predicted this morning. So if I go missing you can surmise that they were right and I am experiencing an electrical outage. Not going to work if roads are too bad.
Lets just enjoy the beauty that a small storms brings.
I love the way the picture goes white in the upper corner. Hope that you stay with electricity (What do you heat with?) and only get what can be described as enjoyable snow.
@kwind Since we are currently in the middle of a blizzard I will gladly ship you some. Been out twice to clean a way to the car. Getting deep out there.
Hi @Joan, I got your challenge. I think I can do that ok. All I use is my iPhone & some apps that I have. Im not a "photographer" by any means. My challenge for you is blurrizism.
That's a lot of wide-open space once the snow has blotted out all the features that we normally get our bearings from. This would be more than enough snow for me Joan - you can keep the blizzard.
My 10 year old son has just seen this and says he wishes he was there! He's desperate for some snow to go sledging this winter as we didn't have any last winter:)
