I went out yesterday when it was snowing and took several pictures. Then this morning at sunrise I went to shot in the golden hour. I am happy with several photos over the too days. This one was taken in the snow but I teased out a blue sky in LR a little and then when I applied the HDR techniques it got even bluer but I like it. Hope you all like it too. You will be seeing a lot of snow pictures in my project over the next week.
Joan, just got in from traipsing through the woods, looking for an inspirational shot, so I know the challenge of our monochrome world - you did GREAT! Really nice - All mine got trashed....
Really lovely capture of the texture and bit of snow on the tree...and that blue sky and the lines are wonderful. The HDR worked well on this Joan. fav for me
The high structure processing has made this image pop Joan: the textures in the bark look almost 3D and and you could count every individual pine needle, if you felt so inclined.
