My squirrel proof bird feeder is living up to it's reputation. But birds are picking eaters. I have pictures of the titmouse tossing out everything (including sunflower seeds). But I am not mean and am happy to have the squirrels clean up after the birds. The juncos also love cleaning up the droppings. I understand this is how it is supposed to be. Makes for wonderful photography. I have to admit that this step befuddled me for leveling. It is below and to the left of the window I am shooting through. I played with different crops but just not sure.
I think your composition works just fine Joan - you have created a charming nature portrait. And I'm glad he's getting fed... even if it is only pickings!
I caught my little squirrel trying to steal bird seeds out of my new "squirrel proof feeder". Breathed a sigh of relief when I later saw two little birds feasting on seeds this morning.
@sophiaz The squirrels try but the don't succeed. I got mine at Wild Birds Unlimited. The gentleman there helped me pick the perfect one for my yard and where to place it,
@888rachel People here find them a nuisance especially people who feed birds. But I think they are cute and through some food on the ground myself for them.

Anyways - I am going to leave in a little while to go on a little photos shoot with my hubby. I did look at some of your photos and I am going to think about your challenge. I will post it later. - looking forward to working with you this week. I see that you are also NOT a fan of snow - I hate it - but I'm in Wisconsin so - it is cold right now.
