While I was shooting birds on Sunday I heard a snow blower. By leaning forward I could see this neighbor in the street. I think he had been cleaning the parking in the space in front of the building and as coming down to do the lower parking spaces. Thought it a good demonstration of the height of the piles on the side of the road on my street. They are like this on both sides and the street is considerable narrower. Couldn't sleep this morning so got up at 3:00 a.m. and now I am crashing. Need to be at the garage in Portland at 7 a.m. Have a good night/day.
Can you imagine having to shovel those piles by hand?! Thank goodness for snow blowers! I think we should give one to my husband for Christmas next year- in June.
For all snow's beauty, it certainly makes a lot of heavy duty work for people! I hope you can get some rest tonight. I know how it is to wake in the middle of the night and not get back to sleep!
oh. not a happy sight for anyone who has to go to work. from my point of view, snow means STAY HOME and WAIT until it melts. They'll be happy to have you back in June.
