This is just excellent Joan - your best work for a while in my opinion. I'm presuming you were using a polarising filter - the deep azure of the sky sets off the bird's plumage perfectly. Instant Fav.
@vignouse Yes, the same one as the day before and that is the blue sky that seemed too blue for the picture and I turned bw so it sort of looked like early evening in my opinion. But here that blue is perfect. It is pure luck to capture these guys. I took several at this point and most worked but a few moments later the ones I took were all wrong. DELETE DELETE
