Rescuing a failed picture

A wonderful thing happened yesterday I found that the town has had time to dig a path from the road to the walking path around #1 pond so I was able to capture a couple of photos. But I went at noon and sun light on white not always a good combo. Took me a few tries to get the exposure right. But I turned this one to bw after turning up the exposure etc and then created my own combination of quod tones so that it was blue (a nice cool color) which I hoped convey that cold feeling you have when you are out even in the bright sun. The is #1 pond which Mousam river runs though - totally frozen and covered in snow.
It must have heard that Niagara is frozen over and decided to follow suit! Nice job on the processing!

This picture conveys a kind of remoteness. Those buildings are ever so far awy. If one of them were the hospital, say, a person could not get there.
