Rose by joansmor

Rose

Playing with indoor photography again. I want to do indoor with daylight but not much daylight coming in the windows. This is the hardest thing for me to do - inside with sunlight. So I played with my new light. This rose is offwhite with a pale tinge of pink. Against a white background I found it harder to focus. I liked this shot because I lave the light laying on it's side a couple of feetb from the rose. I tweaked the shadow slider slightly so you could see the leaves better. I also flipped the picture horizontally. As my mentor says - bob.
A lovely b & w

Very nice. Iwhat a ahame you couldn't get the focus on the white background. The rose would make a stnning high key shot. Did you try manual focus?

Great job. Giving light and shadows to the rose you get a tridimensional effect on a photography
