Hooded Merganser

I am happy because every year I try to get pictures of the ducks who stop in here before heading north. So here is my hooded merganser. I thought I might have to wait until I got home from the sugar houses but the ducks cooperated. My project will be peppered with a few more duck pictures and I am still in hopes that some ring necked ducks and other visitors will stop and I will capture them.
