The Saco flowing over the dam by joansmor

The Saco flowing over the dam

I have posted more than one picture of this dam at Bar Mills but this is the wildest I have ever seen it. the water over the dam is almost the same level as the dam. Here are a couple of earlier shots. First about a year ago - https://365project.org/joansmor/365/2018-04-19
And then as it normally looks in the fall - https://365project.org/joansmor/365/2018-10-11
Goodness me what a difference! That water sure is going wild, hope it does not fill any more.

Wonderful division of styles of water....the calm as it tips over the edge & the wild churning below.

Wow! I noticed the Bushkill was pretty rough and tumble today- and it's a few days after the storm-looks like it's going to be a wet Spring which does not bode well for the Gypsy Moths- but I'm not complaining!! Good shot!

Good gracious - that water has a lot of force and sure is high. Don't imagine it's much better down stream.
