First attempt by joansmor

First attempt

I've seen some great photos looking into the center of flowers, but this one was bent over and though I got down (and wet) I couldn't really look through to view finder to line it up well. But I'll take it in one of my secondary albums.
Nice focus and details!

I think the colors of this and the raindrops are very nice in this shot. Good job.

It is still a beautiful capture, Joan.

I love the colour-ways in this Joan... good 'first attempt'. You sometimes need to be a contortionist to frame a shot; that's where a positionable rear screen, such as Nikon have in the D5x00 series, comes in handy. I don't have one either so, like you, I sometimes have to get down & dirty.

Really great shot Joan - I know what Richard means about being a contortionist to get great compositions! You've done really well with this one! I tend to have problems getting up again if I get too low down, thanks to am arthritic right knee!

@vignouse I definitely made it darker than it was "artistic license" and all that. Thinking this site might get me in shape. LOL

@morrisphotos I am still working on getting those drops in perfect focus but this wasn't the place.

@joansmor None-how about you?
May 5th, 2014
@francoise I played with vibrant and satuation in Camera Raw to get that.

@joansmor Sorry but spring is starting to show up. It took a hiatus for a couple of weeks. I hope you start seeing something.
