VIew from my desk looking out into the main office space.

I have fallen in love with clouds so when I looked out my office as so an interesting sky. I decided to take three views I see when I work. I am tired so just coping description to all three.
Ah, Joan - I'm so glad that I'm retired and so sorry that you're not. I hope for your sake that this computer conversion will be over soon.

@vignouse Supposed to start installing the 17 new computers today and finish tomorrow than install the new server. So I may not be posting much the next few days.

love the typing slip since coping is clearly what you'll be/have been doing with the work stuff. I like this shot as it captures such a familiar, overwhelming and certainly never-looked-at kind of space. One sees office shots like this in the movies, but very few as photos. Enjoy the conversion... Glad you have windows that afford other views too, though.Enjoy the conversion...

I just noticed that there is a picture of a lighthouse on the wall - I wonder if it was you that hung that - I know that we share a love of lighthouses, although you haven't seen any from me... yet!

@vignouse No, this is one of several screen prints we have by a famous Portland artist. He jused to trade the pictures for supplies. Unfortunately he passed away. You would like his work, I think.

At times I miss working in an office, but so love the hugs and loves my kiddies give me!!! I have 45 - 50 kids in my daycare which I have had since 1992. I now have 5 staff, and we are a real happy bunch - thanks for asking :)

Like this shot and the subdued feel from the lighting, although I suspect maybe things weren't quite so 'calm' under the surface!

@perspectivesimages This was after everyone else had gone home so it was quiet - the calm before the storm.
