When I took this earlier this year while I was trying to capture light trails I actually got better colors but the clouds and I think also the filling in of the leaves that block some of the lights that shown on the water.
Hi Joan - thank you for working so hard at your challenge: of the three 'blue hour' shots that you posted, this one is easily my favourite. As Alison @perspectivesimages commented - it's almost surreal. For once, I think the reflection detracts from this shot - I would be tempted to crop off the bottom of the photo in the middle of the lighter blue area of the water and perhaps just lift the exposure on the building slightly.
@vignouse Too funny because this was the original shot but with no man made light or moon light I didn't like it. I just posted the last of my daisy pictures.
