My get pushed partner @la_photographic challenged me to take an architectural shot. I realized that Flagstaff is large/tall building challenged. I love the small historic attitude of this town but it is changing. Anyway, This store is in what I believe is an old movie house with the curved front being the marque. There is a old tile entrance as well making me think that there was ticket booth out front too.
More newer buildings on campus so more to shoot for my challenge this week.
Well done I think you nailed this challenge! Your composition and b&w processing really make this shot, architecture is not all about big bold buildings, but they do make it easier, that you don't live in a big city makes me applaud this shot even more.
@dorsethelen@ukandie1 Wow, thank you so very much for the favs. I thought that was a throw away shot at first. I used a pencil sketch and adjusted brightness instead of going straight to b&w. I like the extra texture this gives.
