Memories of Mom

My get pushed partner Saxa @overalvandaan challenged me to: use natural window light for a portrait or still life. Side light a bonus. Well the side light wasn't working but this is shot with mid-morning daylight-overcast.
This is the toy tea set that my Mom got in 1933, a pearl necklace she often wore, and earrings that she wore in the 60's.
@overlavandaan I enjoyed finding things to create a still life- haven't done many of those. Thank you very much for the challenge.

@joysabin That's awesome! I was thinking there had to be some Photoshopped quality to it. Fantastic!

I love this - the photography is beautiful and it's such a moving tribute to your mum. So good you still have the tea set intact

@jaybutterfield Thank you, her tea set was always 'verboten' to us as kids. That is probably why its still around.
