Went to the City of Torrance Farmer's Market while visiting LA. The selection of both produce and people was wonderful. I am not much of an eggplant aficionado but these caught my eye, long and narrow but fat and ligh-tbulb shaped like those I am familiar with. Didn't have the courage to buy and try.
