The challenge this week for the was to take 10 shots of something but use different focal lengths,ISO etc.
This tree has been seen before in my project and I have been more than be-deviled by it. With taking time to study it and 'play' we have become friends of sorts. The largest image is my favorite as it shows what I see as I approach. I am glad that I waited until I worked in B&W since its character comes through better.
I can see why you love this tree. It has so much character. I agree with the black & white for this shot, your not distracted by anything else, and you can definitely see it's character. I also like the one that you have chosen, but I think a close 2nd is the bottom middle (I love that burst of sunlight).
@francoise Thank you so much, this tree sits close to I-40 so I think that it will be around for a while- not enough property to build a house on. I fell in love with the shape as soon as I saw it. @deborah63 Thank you a great deal. The shape is strange but I did see a similar one at the north rim of the Grand Canyon last year. I agree with black and white is the best way to study something. I am very glad that I did. @kali66 Thank you, re-seeing something helps. @stephanies Thank you very much. The beauty sits next to the freeway-(I think Motorway in Britain)and at the top of a hill. I'm glad that I made friends with it. @maskerade Thank you ever so much for the fav. The tree is a real beauty. @sdutoit You are very kind, thank you for the fav.
@megpicatilly Thank you so much, this tree and I are buddies now. @willowdragon Thank you ever so much, this tree has fascinated me but so glad that I took the all the shots to really appreciate it.
