@bfairfield I think that it is stucco but it has deteriorated a fair amount. I looked inside but did go in since there is a great deal of broken glass and I didn't wear my boots. The romance of Rt 66 has been fading for some time and this roadside place didn't make it. A shame.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Very grateful for the fav, thank you. I've driven by the place several times but, so glad that I stopped and will again to explore more. @kiwinanna Thank you so very much for the fav.
@deborah63 There is a place that is dedicated to the Flintstones, so now I have to go shot it, a bit farther away but still close. I think that the building is supposed to be like a Mohawk, strange weren't those an east coast tribe?
@francoise Very Rt66 kitchy but so fun to explore what's left of it.
@megpicatilly Thank you, this place even has its own exit off Interstate 40, main highway across Northern Arizona. Shame that it is abandon.
@stephanies Thank you, the dome looks like a big helmet, sorta. Just at the top of the walkway is an old rt66 sign, all faded now. It is a shame about it falling apart, this part of Arizona is rather isolated and people just drive right by at 80mph,making no time to stop and explore.
@bfairfield Thank you for the fav, I like to explore the old stuff but have to be careful. Rt66 is still a major tourist thing but only the big things.
@pickerandagrinner I am grateful for the fav, thank you. This old place is falling apart but still has lots of life and character to it.
