This is a shot through my Mom's old Polaroid Land J66 view finder of my old Minolta X700. So basically a shot of a camera taking a shot of a camera. Circular arguments or circle of life?
@octogenarian I thank you so very much. This camera was my Mother's and I feel lucky to have it even though I can't get film any longer. It brings back so many happy memories. So sorry that I haven't answered back until now.
@megpicatilly Thank you, the camera is a great conversation piece, I really wish I could find film but no such luck. Please excuse my tardiness in answering back.
@365projectorgjenfurj Thank you a great deal, the old things just show back up but in different ways. This Polaroid was a staple in our travels as a kid, I can still recall the pungent smell of the chemicals that one had to wipe over a print to preserve it. I apologize for my delay in answering back
@s4sayer Cameras have always been important in some way to me. They became a way for my Dad and I to talk/share when I became a teenager and wouldn't have anything to do with him. He worked with a Rolleiflex 2&1/4. I thank you very much for your kind words and mostly for your patience in my delay in answering.
@miata2u Thank you so very much, the taking shot of a shot is fun. Funny how actually looking through a view finder is becoming old fashioned. Truly appreciate your patience with me about my lack of answering back until now.
@pickerandagrinner The old ones are often the best! I just bought a Konica C35 at a used camera sale. I am still very much looking forward to 'showing' Victoria Northern Arizona when she comes my way. I couldn't turn down a $10 range finder and in good condition, as soon as I get film B&W delivered, I'll post what develops.
