I broke my wine glass while cleaning it. The stem just snapped off-(fiddle sticks). I didn't toss it but stuck in the snow on top of my patio table and played with remotes, wine and blur.
A mistake to clean a wine glass! Just keep topping it up and gradually drain it, but never let it empty! You owe this one a bit of glue after breaking it then making it sit outside in the snow! On second thoughts it might now prefer to sit out in the cold now you have given it a taste of freedom? Why don't you bring it close, take a sip and ask it about its preferences? You could take a selfie while you do it and tag it the 52 week selfie. It would tell us something about you!
@s4sayer I was trying to pour slowly to get lots of shots. I really wanted to capture better clarity on the wine bottle but c'est la vie. Very grateful for the fav, thank you so much.
@jernst1779 Truly appreciate the fav, this lensbaby has a fixed 3.5 aperture. I am loving this Sol45.
@fbailey Thank you so kindly for the fav. I was trying to pour slowly and press the shutter remote, got lucky.
@kali66 Good idea, some days I seem to break lots of things. Only one glass today.
@rjb71 Thank you, I poured it back as noon is just a tad early to indulge. :):)
@yrhenwr I will have to remember that very healthy and satisfying philosophy, now to find the superglue. I don't need my glasses getting any ideas about freedom, the dog would go nuts... If 'they' aren't watching that selfie and conversation might just happen....
@domenicododaro The wine is a Cusumano Nero d'Avola Sicilia
I like the simplicity of its flavor, not heavy at all. As for keeping the glass forever full, good idea.
HAHAHA! You guys are my people! Just keep topping it off!
This is a fantastic shot. I love that you used the lensbaby for this and I really like how the pour is actually coming out, I don't know how to explain it exactly, I'm always lost for words, but I like the texture of it and that it's not a smooth pour, kind of twisty looking? FAV!
So many broken wine glasses in my house, I should hide them when my children do dishes,
@jenp Thank you so kindly for the fav. This lensbaby is giving me some very cool results. I have several different ones but the blur that the Sol series gives is more of what I really like. As for glasses of wine, keep topping off as long as I'm home.
@ziggy77 I am rather amazed that this worked. Very grateful for the fav. I think that I was so miffed about breaking the glass that my focus wasn't on composition just getting the wine into the glass.
@henrir With 9 inches of snow which isn't melting as fast I would like, it almost seems like a statement of defiance.
@yaorenliu I liked that glass too, maybe I can find some superglue and use it again.
@haskar You are so kind, thank you a great deal for the fav. It was good wine too.
@overalvandaan Mu husband almost thought that I'd gone over the line when I took the broken glass outside with camera and tripod. We artists are a crazy bunch but it was fun to see his reaction.
@pistache I am loving this Sol45. I have the twist but don't get the consistency of blur that I want. Very appreciative of the fav, thank you.
@golftragic Splashing wine in the snow, I think hot mulled wine in this weather is more appropriate. :):)
@jo38 Thank you, creative wine drinking, a new sport...:):)

@golftragic Never! I did still a few drops on the snow but not loosing any sleep over that.
@blueberry1222 Just a drop or two on the snow.
@pdulis Thank you so much.
@kmwilliams It was a good red and worth a 2nd bottle when I get the glass fixed.

@samae Don't worry, I've been out of it recently, a head cold and too much snow. I do love these lenses, they are so much fun.
