@charlesd Flash of Red is an annual February challenge - ( https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/32810/flash-of-red-february-the-final-days ) It is a fun to limit myself to B&W which is where I started when I began in photography with film and SLR's. I set my camera on B&W mode but also shoot raw if I want to in depth edits as I need to do with infrared. Please think about joining in next February. So very glad that you liked this and I am very grateful for the fav. It is a composite but both images are IR.

@samae Thank you so much. The SF Peaks are just so pretty with all the snow we got.

wonderful look at this place and interesting use of the globe - (I realised it had to be a composite from the orientation of the globe and the focus on both sections)

@golftragic Grateful for the fav. I just bought a lensball course and it talks about taking three shots and blending them in post.
@shannejw You have a very good eye. I tried to take one shot with lensball on the tripod and get a blurred background but didn't really like it.
@onewing You are so kind, truly grateful for the fav.
@jernst1779 This was fun. I took one of the lensball close up and then without but used the macro lens. I never knew that the macro could do this. Thank you so very much for the fav too.

@walrus But I really miss the ocean. It is true that we aren't ever really content with what we have. I am very grateful for the fav, thank you so kindly.
@haskar Truly appreciate the fav and your patience with my slow response speed.
