Something old, something pink. This is my old foldable lantern from my backpacking days of yore. I even found the pink lady candles that I used. Mine are about 45+ years old and low and behold they are still sold.
Oh lord, at times like this I feel that your life has been so much more exciting than mine.
A foldable lantern and 'pink lady' candles sound so intriguing and outdoorsy. A pink lady cocktail... been there and done that but somehow missed out on the backpacking and foldable lantern adventures. Maybe in my next life.
Thank you all so very much and letting me walk down memory land here. I loved backpacking when I was younger, now a bed and bathroom is more my style. The little lantern was a staple for those trips.
