@joysabin Have you ever driven I-15 from St George (or the interchange for Zion) to Vegas? Most I remember of that road was the canyon you go thru, you know you are going downhill but the geology tells your mind something else. Perhaps playing pass-me-pass-my-semi didn't help that the truck ahead was a tanker with a reflective convex end.
@olivetreeann It can be. This drive goes through Needles California. I've stopped a few times but learned not to touch door handles in summer as they are very hot to the touch. Needles can get 110 at times.
@joysabin You definitely have to be careful on many levels when the temps get that high. I remember being in AZ when it was 102 and not even feeling it. The friend I was with kept making me drink water so I wouldn't dehydrate.
@k9photo @marlboromaam Thanks y'all. Driving to LA has a section of a whole lot of nothingness. 'Needles to Barstow'
@brigette @ljmanning Thank you so kindly. Driving in the south west can really be a interesting experience.
